Further training at PRINOTH
12 prospective business economists get the taste of practical experience
Last week, 12 prospective business economists by the German International Chamber of Commerce (IHK) were able to gain an insight into the processes of a medium-sized company at PRINOTH GmbH in Herdwangen. In particular, the production processes were well received by the participants, most of whom were active in the service sector.
It is impossible to imagine today's career without further training. But in addition to the theory taught by institutes such as the Chamber of Industry and Commerce, it is usually even more exciting to get a practical insight. The special machine construction company PRINOTH GmbH, based in Herdwangen, district of Sigmaringen, recently offered this opportunity to twelve prospective business economists. After a company presentation by the forestry machine manufacturer, the production facility was open to the public. Starting with the assembly of the carrier vehicle through the locksmith's shop to the production of the mulcher, all work steps up to the delivery of the end products were explained. The visit was made possible by PRINOTH employee Nathalie Trost, who presented her workplace and area of expertise to her fellow students at the logistics centre. As a highlight at the end of the informative visit, the budding business economists had the opportunity to take a test seat in the RAPTOR 300 carrier vehicle.
