UNIQUE INNOVATIONS AT THE INTERALPIN 2015

Design and technologies for improved comfort and sustainability.

This year PRINOTH, LEITNER ropeways, and DEMACLENKO will present not only a completely redesigned stand at Interalpin, the trade fair for alpine technologies held from April 15 until April 17 in Innsbruck, Austria. But what visitors could also expect are innovations that constantly improve the efficiency of ropeways, snow groomers and snowmaking systems which make them even more attractive and sustainable.

PRINOTH: New snow groomers with the most powerful engines and best emission values in their classes

CLEAN MOTION represents PRINOTH’s forward-looking philosophy. It stands for low fuel consumption and sustainable environmental protection, while providing highest performance, long service life and efficient vehicle utilization. An outstanding example is the NEW HUSKY, the first snow groomer in the world that meets the strictest “Stage IV/Tier 4 final” emission standards, producing 91 percent less NOx and 87.5 percent fewer soot particles. With its 170 kW/231 HP, it is the most power model in its class. The LEITWOLF represents an impressive combination of performance and sustainability. Thanks to SCR exhaust technology, its six-cylinder diesel engine was the first production vehicle to meet the “Stage III B/Tier 4i” emission standards, producing 90 percent less particulate matter and 50 percent less NOx. The new parallel adjustable POWER tiller has the broadest track width in its class offering outstanding functions. The BISON XPT, developed by PRINOTH in collaboration with Snow Park Technologies (SPT), the world-renowned park construction specialists, delivers a variety of highly efficient features for professional park construction. SNOW HOW is the analysis and consulting concept by PRINOTH. The RESOURCE MANAGEMENT analysis tool uses precise measurement methods to acquire relevant vehicle data to illustrate where productivity can be increased and costs reduced. SNOW DEPTH MEASUREMENT, on the other hand, is a satellite-based system allowing the most precise snow depth measurement and visualization. As part of the custom-designed MOUNTAIN CONSULTING and INDIVIDUAL OPERATOR TRAINING advisory programs, PRINOTH experts, in close cooperation with ski resorts, develop activities to improve work processes and optimize resources.

LEITNER ropeways: Numerous debuts focus on high technology and design

Ropeways are becoming increasingly productive, efficient and environmentally friendly, while at the same time pampering passengers with more comfort and sophisticated design. The numerous innovations by LEITNER ropeways are in line with this trend. An absolute eye catcher will be the new 3S cabin with its pioneering design by Pininfarina, signifying a completely new quality of ride experience. It will be unveiled at our exhibition stand 05/06 in Hall D at noon on Wednesday, April 15. Also making their debut are the new 3S carriage and LEITNER Premium chair with its automotive design and genuine leather cover providing outstanding seating comfort. In addition to cutting-edge designs, increasingly a competitive factor for ski resort operators, LEITNER ropeways will also present a number of technological developments. The electrical engineering competence center will introduce the novel LeitControl system user interface and a comprehensive operating concept. The unique DriveSolutions by LEITNER will be exhibited at the trade fair stand. In addition, LEITNER Service will have its own competence center on-site.

DEMACLENKO: Extensive detail improvements and advancements in sustainability and efficiency in artificial snowmaking.

DEMACLENKO relies on efficient snowmaking systems distinguished by optimum sustainability values. Responsible use of natural resources is clearly the focus for DEMACLENKO. At the Interalpin trade show, the company will present numerous product improvements that significantly make the production of artificial snow more environmentally friendly.
As a result, DEMACLENKO has enhanced the well-known Titan, and will present Generation 2.0 at the exhibition; based on an already successful design concept, this system’s numerous innovations will astonish visitors. These include improvement of energy efficiency, increased nozzle output, reworking of the nozzle ring, a newly developed impeller, as well as numerous measures to reduce the noise level. Generation 2.0 of the Titan fan gun features the new fully automatic Hydrant HydroSystem. In addition to flow and pressure regulation, the HydroSystem also shuts down automatically during power failure. High-quality design will likewise impress the customer.
Development of a new lance head likewise offers obvious improvements such as impressive optimization and design solutions. This lance will be introduced to the public for the first time at the trade show.
