ACQUSITION OF SEDISH SLÄPLIFTPRODUKTER AB

The most proven Aluminum tracks on the market - GAMSKETTE - will now be sold by PRINOTH

Släpliftprodukter AB, based in Sweden, belongs to PRINOTH AG since November 1, 2014 and has been producing tracks for snow groomers successfully for years. It is particularly well-known for its Gamskette product line. Now its product portfolio will be completely transferred to PRINOTH AG, though production will continue in Sweden.

By acquiring Släpliftprodukter AB, the leading manufacturer of tracks for snow groomers, PRINOTH AG has also obtained valuable technological expertise. One of the most famous products of the company, headquartered in Ludvika, is the Gamskette product line. These tracks are considered the best and most reliable aluminum tracks for snow groomers and combine a special cleat design with high-quality materials. They were developed by Austrian Norbert Krainer, who founded Släpliftprodukter AB in 1989. PRINOTH will acquire the entire product portfolio from the Swedish company, including the tracks and overlapping locks.

Släpliftprodukter AB company headquarters will stay put

Despite the acquisition, the manufacturer of snow groomer tracks will stay in Sweden and maintain its company headquarters in Ludvika. Founder Norbert Krainer will continue to be available to the company in a consulting function. Markus Straninger, former head of sales of the Gamskette product line in Austria, joined PRINOTH GmbH in Telfs on February 1, 2015. This guarantees that existing Gamskette customers will continue to enjoy excellent customer care.

Expertise from the snow groomer track manufacturer will be incorporated into PRINOTH development

Släpliftprodukter AB has long maintained a close business relationship with the snow groomer manufacturer. The acquisition means an enormous gain in expertise for PRINOTH AG, with the technology and expertise from the Swedish company now being incorporated into development and production at PRINOTH. Existing synergies between both companies in the field of snow groomer tracks can be optimally leveraged and further expanded. Above all, however, the market position of the successful Gamskette product line will be advanced and its future secured.
