Preparing for the World Championships with the HUSKY eMOTION

Our electric snow groomer prepared the cross-country tracks for the biathlon athletes training for the World Championships.

On February 8, 2023, the Biathlon World Championships started in Germany. For twelve days, the international biathlon stars will meet on the trails around Oberhof and in the “Arena am Rennsteig”.

Last week four national teams including the Italian team prepared for the World Championships in Ridanna, South Tyrol. The athletes were thrilled about the quality of the trails – and the fact that they had been prepared by an electric snow groomer.

For us at PRINOTH, it was a proud moment to maintain the trails with our HUSKY eMOTION – the world’s first commercially available electric snow cat. The electric motor delivers 245 hp and an instant maximum torque of 1,000 Nm. Equipped with the NORDIC LINER, the HUSKY eMOTION lays smooth, long-lasting cross-country trails that athletes and winter sports enthusiasts love.
