The 2nd “FIS Course Designer & Builder Clinic” was held at PRINOTH
The 2nd “FIS Course Designer & Builder Clinic” took place at PRINOTH’s HQ, in Vipiteno, Italy from the 3rd to the 5th of October 2015. Prior the early winter World Cup events, seventy International experts, took advantage of the 3 days’ workshop to share experiences and knowledge, as well as discussing the development of sports.
The 3 days seminar, which also included a production tour, marked an important step for the continuation of the partnership between FIS and PRINOTH. A constant optimization of the distances, in terms of safety and efficiency during construction and competitions are an absolute priority and they guide the development of sports.
For Joseph Fitzgerald, FIS Freestyle Coordinator, the collaboration has an enormous potential. The competition’s quality as well as the quality of the Courses can definitely be improved thanks to the expertise and the innovative technology of PRINOTH. “It is impressive to see the best Course Designers and Builders and other interested parties attending our Clinic. Great knowledge and expertise were shared, which is exactly what we need to advance sports in all its professionalism.” The 2nd edition of the FIS Course Designer & Builder Clinic was a great step forward, adds Martin Fiala, FIS Freestyle Ski Cross Director. He then says “I am very pleased of the tremendous interest in all the topics around the theme Courses. The new park machines from PRINOTH are playing an important role in the upcoming Freestyle and Snowboard World Cup season, especially the NEW BISON X. This snow grooming vehicle has been specially built to design and groom professional parks and courses and is being used to prepare for the World Cup events. As an “Official Service Partner” of the 2015/16 FIS Freestyle and Snowboard World Cup tour, PRINOTH is contributing the latest technology and all its expertise. The partnership with the International Ski Federation FIS has already proved to be a success at the FIS Freestyle Ski and Snowboard World Championships in Kreischberg in January 2015, where PRINOTH was the official and exclusive supplier, with nine snow groomers.
