Prime Minister of Georgia impressed by South Tyrolean winter technologies

Georgia's attractiveness as a tourist destination is growing year after year, the country on the Caucasus and the Black Sea has become an attractive destination for winter sports. A large number of planned projects, as the construction of entire ski areas, promise a remarkable development opportunity for winter tourism.

In order to gain an impression of the South Tyrolean expertise in tourism and winter technologies, Giorgi Kwirikaschvili, the Prime Minister of Georgia, traveled with his Vice Prime Minister Kakha Kaladze, followed by a delegation, on March 9, 2017 for an institutional visit to South Tyrol. After Christian Tommasini, the deputy of the country, officially welcomed him at the Bolzano Airport, he also got to know a few South Tyrolean companies and ski resorts in addition to the company's association president Stefan Pan. He was impressed by the company’s competences in the winter sports sector, in particular by the innovative technologies around the slope preparation of PRINOTH.
