The NEW HUSKY at the Snowmobile Congress

In Niagara Falls Convention Center, Niagara Falls, New York from June 10 - 13, 2015

North American Head Quarters, Granby, June 4 2015 - The heart of the NEW HUSKY is a pioneering 170 Kw/ 228 hp diesel engine providing outstanding torque and drastically reduced emissions. Complying with EPA’s latest emissions standard, the NEW HUSKY is improving the quality of slopes and trail preparation while remaining particularly environmentally friendly and even more efficient. The NEW HUSKY trail groomer for snowmobile tracks and cross-country skiing is clearly the front-runner in its market segments.

The NEW HUSKY is impressive in every aspect. With its four-cylinder diesel engine, it is not only the most powerful model in its class; its torque is also 27 percent higher than that of the previous model. The higher torque significantly boosts the vehicle’s pushing performance and climbing capabilities. Furthermore, the engine is the first in the world to meet EPA’s current cleanest exhaust emission standard for mobile machinery, “Tier 4 Final”. This means that it reduces nitrogen oxide emissions by 91 percent and particulate emissions by 87.5 percent making this snow groomer as efficient as clean.

“The NEW HUSKY, developed by PRINOTH, is now featuring a completely modernized ergonomic concept for operators. We understand the work done in this industry so we have completely redesigned the cabin which now offers optimal 360 degree visibility, a clear and user-friendly display monitor, an automotive-type steering wheel and PRINOTH’s universal joystick. All of these state-of-the-art features are what operators are looking for.” states Jean-Claude Perreault, Vice-President of Sales, PRINOTH North America.

With this new product, PRINOTH is setting new standards in sustainable usage of snow groomers, providing environmentally friendly technologies and comprehensive services. Through this strategy, which is known as CLEAN MOTION, PRINOTH is striving to meet its objective of low fuel consumption and sustainability on one hand, and high performance, long life and efficient use of the vehicle on the other.
