Visitors show great interest in PRINOTH’s innovations

Interalpin, the leading trade fair for Alpine technologies, took place in Innsbruck from April 15 to 17. At the fair, PRINOTH showcased its efficient solutions for sustainable, flawless snow grooming. In keeping with the slogan “best prepared for the future,” PRINOTH presented cutting-edge technology and a pioneering analysis and consultancy concept. The guest appearance by star designer Paolo Pininfarina sent ripples of excitement through the visitors at the press conference on April 15.

The enormous interest at the trade fair for Alpine technologies once again highlights PRINOTH’s position as a global leader in snow grooming. The wide range of innovations that the company presented at its newly designed stand led to considerably higher visitor numbers than at Interalpin 2013. The central theme of the trade fair was “best prepared for the future.” Alongside performance and cost-effectiveness, environmental awareness and design also played a crucial role here. The design firm Pininfarina, which can usually be found designing for brands such as Ferrari and Maserati, has already enjoyed many highly successful years of partnership with PRINOTH. Almost the entire PRINOTH vehicle fleet has been developed in collaboration with the Italian designers.

CLEAN MOTION – the cleanest slope care
The NEW HUSKY is the world’s first snow groomer to meet the strictest exhaust emission standard, “Stage IV/Tier 4 final”. It is the most powerful model in its class, delivering 231 hp/170 kW while generating 91 percent less nitrogen and 87.5 percent fewer soot particles. The popular LEITWOLF model has been equipped with the new POWER tiller. This guarantees deep and fine-grained tilling results across the whole width of the tiller, enabling perfect preparation of the snow layer. Another highlight was the BISON XPT, which PRINOTH developed in collaboration with the leading park specialists Snow Park Technologies (SPT) from the USA. SNOW HOW by PRINOTH also generated a great deal of interest: with this analysis and consultancy concept, ski resorts can optimize their workflows and machine use in a sustainable manner. SNOW HOW’s strengths include RESOURCE MANAGEMENT and a satellite-based system for high-precision snow depth measurement and visualization that was developed in collaboration with the Swiss company Leica Geosystems.

Working on tomorrow’s solutions today – this is what sets PRINOTH’s technicians apart. This philosophy also won PRINOTH the South Tyrol Innovation Award in 2013. PRINOTH’s next major trade fair appearance will be at Mountain Planet from April 13 to 15, 2016, in Grenoble, France, where the Sterzing-based company will again be showcasing its spectacular innovations.
