Convincing Machine Testing M450h on Remote-controlled Carrier

The new M450 series from PRINOTH is one of the lightest brush mulching machines in its class and was specifically developed as an attachment for remote-controlled carriers. The mulcher is also suitable for other hydraulic carrier vehicles with 55-110 l/min (14.5-29 gpm) volume flow such as small skid steer loaders or wheel loaders.

Commitment to a good cause

As version M450h with a working width of 1350 mm (53.1 in), the scrub mulcher on a remote-controlled mowing crawler recently came into special use. A new forest kindergarten is being built in the neighboring village of the PRINOTH plant in Herdwangen, Germany. Sales representative Tobias Riffler is a member of the local council and has agreed to support preparing the area. The mulcher removed spruce stumps and loose brushwood on the approx. 1,000 square meter (11,000 sq feet) area, which had previously been harvested as timber. During the mulching process, the machine shreds the wood residues and distributes them homogeneously over the now flat surface. Tobias Riffler was satisfied with the result despite the frosty temperature on site: "It is always an experience to test newly developed machines in the field. If everything runs smoothly and works right from the first use, then we are very satisfied, and the machine is ready for sale".

Variable brush mulcher now available

The M450h is available in three different working widths, depending on customer requirements. The rotor has a diameter of 450 mm (17.7 in) and is equipped with PRINOTH BCS tools (Bite-Control-System). As a mechanical version, the M450m range is available for PTO-driven carrier vehicles such as small tractors from 54-90 HP.
