SUSTAINABLE SUCCESS WITH A WORLD’S FIRST
PRINOTH at Mountain Planet
At Mountain Planet 2022, PRINOTH presented machines and digital solutions for sustainably groomed, perfect slopes and an improved work life. Both audience and exhibitors enjoyed the trade show atmosphere and the opportunity to meet in-person.
A cleaner, more powerful fleet
Thanks to their Stage V engines, the new LEITWOLF and the new BISON offer impressive performance, low fuel consumption and minimal exhaust emissions. Only the electric HUSKY eMOTION leaves behind fewer emissions—and that means none at all. Now it is the world’s first electric snow groomer in series production. First buyer: the city of Oslo.
The HUSKY eMOTION is a testimony to the unbridled power that can be found in environmentally friendly drives: The electric motor delivers 245 hp and an instant torque of 1,000 Nm. So it offers full performance from the moment it gets going. Thanks to a runtime of up to three hours, most cross-country trails and small slopes are groomed before the 208 kWh battery needs to be recharged.
Numerous visitors took the opportunity to take a close look at the three vehicles and had the chance to sit inside them and feel the comfort of the upgrades. Experts explained special features and innovations such as the PRINOTH CONTROL UNIT, our acclaimed operating concept available in all vehicles.
Work efficiently and save resources
PRINOTH also presented a collection of digital solutions that connect people, machines and data to optimize operations throughout the ski area, simplify the complex day-to-day work and save resources—time and money, but also water and electricity. Our Connected Services include features such as Snow Measurement, Fleet Management, Task Manager and Maintenance Overview. They are connected to the Skadii platform. Data can be retrieved in real time, evaluated and visualized on different end devices such as desktop computers or smart phones.
Snow Measurement is the most precise measurement system on the market and enables improved snow management from production, through distribution, to grooming. This can help extend the ski season while saving costs.
With machines and digital technologies from PRINOTH, ski resorts worldwide can work more efficiently and save costs and resources—paving the way for a sustainable future of winter sports.
